When Mondrian made his paintings, he would allways mix his own colours and never use the paint directly out of a tube. He offten use primary colours red, yellow, and blue,to keep his painting pure and simple

in 1961 Andy Warhol came up with the idea of using i'tems in his art. he called it pop art. he would use pictures of these common i'tems and change there colour's. Andy used bright,contrasting colour's in his art.
